The city of Huy

The attractive city of Huy has a beautiful collegiate church and an old city centre with peaceful walks through history. The Grand Place, which is the busy heart of the town, is the old area of shopkeepers and craftsmen. 

In the centre of the square you can see the foundations of an elegant fountain, Li Bassinia, of which the oldest part dates back to 1406. Have a look at the guidebook to the city in the gîte.

The Castle of Jehay

The Castle of Jehay, which is listed exceptional heritage of Wallonia, truly is a must for all tourists in our region. You will be under the charm of a many centuries old site offering a mix of art, history and nature.

The Castle of Modave

Located on a roc terrace 60 meter above the level of the river Hoyoux, the castle gives astounding views on the surrounding nature. It was occupied by prestigious owners, among whom the Count of Marchin who gave the castle the aspect we can admire today. Others were Maximilien-Henry of Bavaria, the Prince-Bishop of Liège, the cardinal of Fürstenberg or the families of Montmorency, Lamarche and Braconnier.

The Mont Mosan

The Mont Mosan is a theme and animal park and an ideal destination for families with children. Sea-lions and seals shows, parrots, large playgrounds with all types of  roundabouts, mini-golf, pony rides, didactic shows about sea mammals, inflatable castles, and much more… Ideal activities for a perfect day out.

L’Hirondelle in Oteppe

It is a really atypical site, developed in the heart of a beautiful, listed natural park around an 18th century castle with 3 fish ponds, swimming pools and unforgettable playgrounds.

The Castle of Moha

The remains of the Feudal Castle of Moha are a major tourist attraction in the ‘Pays Burdinale Mehaigne’. It was the residence of the Counts of Dasbourg and of the Prince-Bishops of Liège and its presence is attested to as soon as the 11th century. A tourist office was recently set up on that spot in order to welcome groups of tourists. Today, it is a strategic starting point to discover the region.
